Pirate-Themed Playground Transformation
Project Overview
A pirate ship complete with skull-and-crossbones flags takes centre stage at Carnalridge Primary School’s revitalised playground, with an ocean-themed Rosehill TPV® surface bringing the design together from the play equipment down to ground level.
More than just a colourful finish, the seamless wet-pour surface provides consistent impact protection beneath slides, climbing equipment, and other play features, creating a safe environment for children throughout the school day.
On the North Antrim coast, outdoor surfacing must also withstand a challenging climate. Frequent rainfall, coastal exposure, and year-round use demand materials that continue to perform over time. Rosehill TPV® is engineered to retain its elasticity and impact-absorbing properties in these conditions, helping playgrounds remain safe, durable, and visually appealing for years to come.
Available in 21 standard colours, Rosehill TPV® gives designers the freedom to create themed playgrounds, splash parks, sports facilities, and recreational spaces without compromising long-term performance.
